passsing of Joe Keck

JOSEPH KECK Sr.
Joseph C. Keck Sr. Joseph C. “J.C.” Keck Sr., of Tacoma, WA beloved husband
of Betty (Baggett) Keck for 59 years, was called home to be with the Lord on
April 3, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital, Tacoma. Joseph was born in
Independence, MO, the son of the Theodore C. Keck, and the late Lucille
Flynn Mallett. Joseph is survived by his wife Betty of Tacoma; his children,
Joseph C. Keck Jr. of Bryant, AR, Jeffrey Allen Keck of Marion, TX, Ronald
Ray Keck (Brenda) of Trabuco Canyon, CA, and Robert S Keck of Federal Way,
WA; four grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Marie Daniels
of Chattanooga, TN; and many nieces and nephews. Prior to his retirement, he
was employed by Delta Air Lines for forty years. During his forty years at
Delta Air Lines, he worked in Chicago, ILL, Memphis, TN, opened a station as
Station Manager in Burlington, VT., worked in Dallas/Ft. Worth, and opened
another station in San Antonio, TX as Station Manager working there for
thirty years. Member of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, and supported
the San Antonio Spurs. JC was a member of the Northeast Baptist church in
San Antonio, serving the church as Deacon. He supported the NE San Antonio
Little League as a T-Ball and Baseball Coach. Following his retirement, he
worked at the San Antonio Express News for nine years. A Viewing will be
held on Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 10:00am – 5:00pm at Gaffney Funeral
