BEEN WATCHING JUMP TRAINING TODAY.  CHILLS AND THRILLS SO MANY YEARS AGO.  A JUMP TODAY I WOULD BREAK EVERY BONE IN MY BODY.  NO WAY I COULD DO IT TODAY AT 80 YEARS.
YOU NEVER FORGET THE TRAINING BUT YOUR BODY COULD NOT HANDLE IT AT A MUCH OLDER AGE.  QUITE A DIFFERENCE FROM 21 TO 80.  YES I MADE MY FIRST JUMP ON 21ST BIRTHDAY MAY 27, 1957.
MOST ALL THE INSTRUCTORS I HAD WERE ONES THAT HAD SURVIVED WW11 FROM BEING GLIDER MEN.  THEY WERE THE ONES THAT REALLY TOOK A BEATING.  THE TOUGHEST OF THE VERY BEST TO STILL BE LIVING 10 YEARS AFTER WW11.
HARASSMET WAS FROM DAY 1 TO THE END OF TRAINING.  CONSTANTLY HEARING–YOU WILL NEVER MAKE IT.  QUIT WHILE YOUR STILL ALIVE, ETC. YOU HAD TO RESPECT THEM TO THE FACT THEY CAME BACK ALIVE AFTER  WW11.
